Summer Feast 2024

Sunday 16th of July @ 3pm Its father's day, Blooms day and the summer feast day !   The residents association has been working hard to make this event better than ever. The weather will be and its never stoped us having a nice afternoon, fingers cross this year will comply!  p.s. if you can, bring some food to share !

Street Feast 2023

Street Feast Tomorrow Sunday @ 4pm (a little later than initially planned) The residents association has been working hard to make this event better than ever. The weather promises to be fabulous at 4pm, but not so much earlier. So we have moved the time to 4pm ! *** Please let people know the time has changed *** Hopefully this coincides well with everyone’s end of day and you can make it. There will be music, face paint, balloons and games for the kids and a chance for us all to catchup with friends and neighbours, on the almost longest day of the year! We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow Sunday 25th.  We are encouraging those who can to bring something to share !!

Cake Sale for Ukraine Red Cross Appeal Thanks to everyone who came out to donate to the bake sale today in aid of Ukraine. Special thanks to all the bakers. We raised a fantastic €500 for the Red Cross appeal. That’s a super result! Thanks a million.

Halloween Social Event

Halloween Social Are you up for a social scare?On Sunday the 31st at 4pm, our estate will be taken over by Ghouls, Ghosts, Goblins and many more frightening creatures big and smallOur residents association will be hosting a Halloween socialbeverages and cake for the adultsgoodies, face painting, games, costume prizes and more for the kidsan entertainer and magician on hand to cast wicked spells "Finite Incantatem"Location is top of Westbrook Road.Everyone is welcome !Fingers crossed the weather will behave for our social event tomorrow!If anyone with younger kids would like to do ‘Halloween Bingo’, this is a link to a card that can be filled out.Nine houses across Highfield and Westbrook will have 'to find' scary posters up from 4pm Saturday.Event is 4pm Sunday and we will have a kids entertainer 4 - 5pm .. top of Westbrook Road !

Let’s spruce up our neighbourhood! When Sunday 30th May @ 11am Westbrook Road (opposite no. 7) What All (especially kids) with green fingers can pick up your free seeds, soil and environment friendly pots. There will also be a draw to win an Eco-Friendly Bug House. Adult volunteers, we need you to help clean up the verges and help paint the bridge railings Everyone who can, it is a perfect time to spruce up your front garden and say hello to your neighbour who might be doing the same!! Waste bags and equipment to support the tidy up will be available. All are asked to please follow social distancing guidelines
