The association committee would like to send our best wishes to all residents; we hope that everyone is staying safe and well.  We would like to advise residents that the next AGM will take place by Zoom video conference on Tuesday December 7th from 8pm to 9pm.

  • Updates on key topics (including local developments, parking and speed mitigation measures within our estate)
  • General discussion on what you might like to see from our community association
  • Update on association finances
  • Review and ratification of the association constitution

Residents’ Association Constitution

  • A constitution for our resident’s association has been developed to support transparent and effective governance; aligned with our association objectives.
  • We aim to formally adopt and agree the constitution at this year’s AGM.

New committee members

  • An effective residents’ association requires a quorum of participating committee members. We would like to encourage new member to join the committee.
  • Membership is open to all residents and a vote to appoint the new committee will be held at the AGM.
  • The committee will help advance residents’ association objectives which include
    1. promote and enhance the living environment and a better sense of community
    2. represent the interests of everyone living in Highfield Park and Westbrook Road
    3. ensure that the area is well represented when dealing with local and statutory bodies
    4. undertake community projects like clean ups, summer projects
    5. raise awareness of issues such as Road safety, Community safety, Upkeep, Littering and dog fouling
    6. keep residents informed of what’s happening in our neighbourhood
    7. make request for improvement to the area e.g. a better play area in the vicinity
